Speak As Much As Possible

If you can speak even a little English, be confident with that and speak as much as possible. Do not fear making mistakes! Because the more you will practice, the sharper your skills will become. Pronunciation, Vocabulary and Sentence Structuring can only be improved based on usage. Always remember that Practice makes a man perfect.

Think In English

As it is said, it's easier to think than to make it happen. In the same way, it is quite easy to think in English compared to speaking it. Once you start thinking in English, it will be easy to speak those sentences further. For Example-: If you are planning a day in your mind, think of everything in English. If you are planning your grocery shopping, think about whatever you want to buy in English.

Talk To Yourself

When you are alone or have some time from your busy schedule, try to speak to yourself. If there is nothing to discuss, try to speak your thoughts out loud. Another thing you can do is stand in front of the mirror, choose a topic and speak on the topic all by yourself. Even if you feel you cannot speak well, keep blabbering, stop for a minute, think about what you want to speak, and then continue. Follow this pattern daily for just 10 minutes, and you will definitely see the difference in your speaking skills.

Be a Sincere Listener

Listening is as important as speaking. Listen to news bulletins, English songs, and English Commentary or watch English Movies. Listen to the pronunciation of words and how they speak, and try to catch new words and phrases from them. Try to copy what you heard and practice it. The more sincerely you listen, the more you will learn!

Read Out Loud

If reading anything, try to read it out loud. This will help you improve your reading skills, and along with it, this activity helps improve your pronunciation and introduces you to new words and phrases.

Learn a New Word or a Phase Daily

Learn a word on a daily basis and try to use it in as many sentences as possible. Use that word to an extent until you memorize it. Other than that, revise that word once before going to bed and try to build a few sentences using the same word: this way, the probability of remembering the word increases.

Communication is More Important Than Grammar

Even if you don’t have a good command of Grammar, do not lose confidence. Speak the language fluently. With the fear of making mistakes, you often stop in between. But this makes you look less confident, and apart from this, influential language makes it difficult for the other person to understand what you want to say. Maybe your sentences will not be grammatically correct, but they will communicate what is needed, and that completes the task. But do not confuse Fluency with fastness. Speaking slowly and fluently.

Relax and Have a Positive and Confident Attitude

Learning any new thing takes time. And if, during your phase of learning, you make a mistake or forget a word- It’s Ok. Don’t lose hope. Learn from the mistake and carry on further. Because mistakes only lead to betterment. Be Patient and keep improving because if you are insecure about how you speak, you will never be able to learn.

Be consistent with whatever you do. Set goals and work regularly. Experiment and Be Adventurous. Do not hide behind excuses if you make a mistake; learn from it and do not repeat it in the future. Make a lot of strategies and set goals so that you can measure your improvement.
